Visiting Sandstone in 2024. New visiting arrangements

In March of this year, after a number of security issues and a serious drought situation at Sandstone, we restricted visitors to Sandstone to  Saturdays only. We have now resolved the issues and the drought is behind us so we have now revised our visiting arrangements.

For individuals, small and large groups we are open from Monday to Saturday with advanced booking only. We are also able to offer steam train trips for larger groups which can be quoted on application. For all groups we would request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

So Sandstone is very much open for visitors and we look forward to hosting you in the near future.
