Harvest Update - 8.02.11
By_the_Whitehouse_006

December and January were very tough for the farm. We had almost no rain from the time we planted our wheat in July until mid November. Germination was fair but the plants struggled through the dry winter months of September and October.

When the rains came they came with a vengeance. Unfortunately the rainfall reached its climax during January when we were attempting to combine the wheat crop. 408mm of rain fell in January alone.

Our pictures below tell the story.
