New John Deere 6930 arrives at Sandstone Estates from overseas

Due to the fact that we use extremely advanced equipment, we require features on our tractors which are not available on locally supplied models. A good example is the John Deere 6000 Series range which comes with a wide variety of very sophisticated operator options, together with quick hydraulically operated trailer hitch etc.

Sandstone Estates follows technological developments in the First World very closely and attempts
to emulate the example set by the most progressing farmers in Europe and North America in particular. Productivity is everything and a well-trained operator on a very well equipped tractor, such as the 6930, can deliver an enormous output over a 12-month period.

This tractor and within a few hours was planting wheat using our much older John Deere
1780 Planter.
