HISTORY: |
|||
This bus entered into service in January 1951 with Bedwas and Machen Municipality and was one of seven vehicles run by this small south Wales toen. Due to the hilly terrain, the bus has the larger 9.6 litre engine. In July 1971, the present owner, John Allen bought the bus for £160.00 (GBP) before it could be sold for scrap. It was then based at Walsall in Staffordshire for many years, attending rallies and charity functions before moving to a farm in Chalgrove, a villiage in Oxfordshire. |
