Sandstone Sherman Mark IV receives serious TLC

These pictures show the progress on the Sherman tank upgrade.
A new Radiator specifically customised for this powerful machine by Tombo Automotive (see www.tombo.co.za) is being fitted to significantly improve the cooling system. Sandstone worked very closely with team Tombo on this project given the specialist nature of the work. Tombo, as well as selling new radiators, intercoolers and more, are experts at bespoke fabrications and repairs.
This project will make this venerable Second World war tank mechanically state of the art and will ensure that it continues to thrill as it "guards" the NG railway.
