RN 126 - International Relationship between Beaulieu and Sandstone
If Beaulieu is successful in building a narrow gauge railway at the world famous Beaulieu Estate, the site of the National Motor Museum, near Southampton in the United Kingdom, then Sandstone's locomotives will feature in their future plans.
Sandstone's ability to restore up to four locos per annum means that the availability of traction for its own needs has already been catered for and therefore we are able to work with other railways to assist them.
The Beaulieu initiative is the first of many such relationships which we hope will develop over time. The world-wide steam community is one family and should work together to ensure that these timeless artefacts are enjoyed by as many people as possible over as wide an area as possible.
