Another day Flugel

31st January 2008

Let's see what's in the bag today....................

1

I have had enquiries regarding the idea of the pitboards that Bob the Builder is manufacturing. Here is an end on view under 'F13', showing the application.

2

The new aluminium axlebox covers are now in place on 'A222'. Yes, they will finish up being black.

3

Top level discussion between Our Graham and Sir Colin.

4

I have also had enquiries regarding progress on 'F13'. The brake rigging and cylinder are in place and also................

6

Jolly Roger is seen preparing the containers for the roof.

7

'A222' gets it roof cover..

8

Roger, Graham and Keith squaring off the material.

9

Mike Webb and I wasted most of the day fitting new bearings to the motor, only to find during this test run that the windings have shorts. Bad luck!

10

I'm not sure who to credit with the paint job, but I hope to find out.

11

Sir Colin knows where to cut the new signal post. Carl Pumpa is to the right of Roger and I don't know whose back that is.

12

Roger makes short work of adjusting the length. Danny (right) provided the saw.

13

Finally, two of Bobs pitboards in place. (Not centred.)

See you next week, now I have to go and make my evening meal.  'K'
