While we are in the mood, (we are aren't we?) allow me to offer a couple of pictures from my camera, taken over the last two afternoons when I have been on site at the coalface..................

Â
This from the week before last. Snapped in a hurry, I cut off some heads, but you get the picture. We now have a cow catcher hung at the rear of 'F13'. L to R. Brian the Lion, Jolly Roger, new member Danny and behind him, Sir Colin and Maree. Roger is puzzling over the need to get the necessary 100mm or 4" clearance under the catcher.
Outside yesterday, there's a gang fitting a fire protection sprinkler system for us. On the right is what I think is the beginnings of a roof for the containers out the back.
Inside and work proceeds apace on 'A222'. Someone has screwed a class plate to the side and on the inside in the near window, Mirthful Max is all but finished the huge job of paint stripping the ceiling. The window frames are out and the side cladding is being cleaned back.
Graham is seen here fitting new window slide guides (I'm sure there's a correct word for this) to the frames. Keith was busy too, but I didn't check on just what he was up to.
So there you have it. A bonus issue. My thanks again to jawj. (does that have a capital 'j'?) People offering this sort of help make the process so much more worthwhile.
It's looking like I can make up an issue next week, courtesy of Sir Colin. Again, we will be out of town. Whoopee! See you then. Cheers 'K'.
P.S. Our erstwhile Flying Scotsman has come to grief somewhat. He's had a serious lock up in his back. I'm sure we all wish him well for a speedy recovery. Hasta La Visita Ian!
